I am a sport and exercise psychologist and have experience working in a variety of high-performance settings and across a variety of sports including swimming, football, rugby, basketball, and tennis. My practice takes a holistic approach encompassing all aspects of a client’s life into our work. Honesty, empathy, and respect are my guiding principles. I work with clients to develop their understanding of themselves and teach them skills and techniques that will enhance their performance on and off to the pitch. I believe sport psychology is as much about personal development and wellbeing as it is about performance enhancement.
I have been a practicing sport and exercise psychologist and higher education academic for over 10 years. My practice and research have focused on athlete identity; athlete support; and how athletes explain novel, negative, and unexpected events. I have a keen interest to work with elite and professional athletes around aspects related to wellbeing, identity, support, and across career transitions. My philosophical approach to practice is grounded in Christian principles.

Fourth year pharmacy student, pharmacy dispenser and newly appointed member of the team.
I knew quite early on what I wanted to do as a career and have been working towards it ever since. Working as a pharmacy dispenser during my studies has given me the opportunity to meet the people that I can make a difference to whilst also being able to put some of the theory I have been taught into practice.
Discipline, a good work ethic, determination and integrity have helped me get this far and I plan on applying these throughout my post as an ambassador for Curriculo solutions on the Pharmacists for the future programme.
I enjoy contributing where I can and took up the post of student representative to voice the concerns of my year group for a couple of years. In my first year as a representative, I was nominated for course rep of the year.
When I’m not working or studying, I like to spend time in the great outdoors with my family. That can be anything from hiking, canoeing, rock climbing to white water rafting. In the future, I would like to see more of what the world has to offer and hopefully help people along the way.
Many of the Curriculo Solutions key programmes have been independently verified as world-class, by The Institute of Leadership.
